• Critters looking for homes

We are not a charity, nor a rehoming centre, however, sometimes we are called for help. In these instances we will temporarily house the animal and make sure they are healthy and pass our quarantine checks, then we will add them here!

If you are interested in offering these gorgeous Critters a forever home, please contact us!

We do ask for an adoption donation on £25 (minimum) that will help pay for the other animals looking for homes.

    Precious, 5, Female

Precious the leopard gecko is approximately five years old. She is a sassy lady that is guaranteed to make you laugh. She is a nosey gecko that is happy to test your set up for any chances to escape! She is learning to relax when handled, but it won't take long.

    Echo, 18, Corn Snake

Echo is a handsome, distinguished gentleman looking for his retirement home! Hes a sweet snake that is happily handled and eats and sheds well. He does have cataracts but is a confident once he knows where he is. He is a little stunted but he doesn't mind!

His new owner will have to be a little older as he is a typical corn for handling.

    Rune, 8, Spur-thighed

Rune is just adorable! He is active, nosey and happily follows you around. He is mischievous and daft! We have a complete set of paperwork for him from his breeder. As you can tell from the photo, he is a little stunted!

His new owner will have to keep an eye on his calcium and vitamin intake.

    G.A.L Snails*

Giant African Land Snail babies! We have a range of ages/sizes available of different colours (brown or white). They are healthy, well fed and wormed.

They are bizarre, yet wonderful pets that can live up to 10 years.

*These do not have a minimum adoption donation

All of the animals we have stay with us for 3 months in quarantine to make sure they are happy and healthy. This also gives our staff plenty of time to get to know the animal and what they would prefer in a home. Below are sneak peeks of animals we still have in quarantine that will eventually need a home.

  • Reptile Adoption and Keeper Support

When one of our reptiles is ready for adoption, our top priority is always their wellbeing and making sure they go to a confident, caring home. Every adoption starts with a meet-and-greet session, where you’ll get to meet the animal, ask questions, and chat through their care needs.

    1

The Welfare Check (included in adoption)

Before any animal leaves, we’ll go through a short welfare check together.
This isn’t a test — it’s just a relaxed conversation to make sure you have everything your new reptile needs to thrive.

    Included:

    • Meet and handle (if appropriate) the reptile you’re interested in
    • Discussion about your setup, experience, and environment
    • Care sheet and species-specific guidance
    • Recommendations for housing, heating, and diet

This session is completely free and included as part of the adoption process — it’s our way of ensuring the best possible start for the animal.

    2

    Confidence Sessions (optional add-ons)

If you’d like to build your skills and confidence further, we offer short, hands-on sessions designed to help you feel completely comfortable with your new reptile. These sessions are optional, but most new keepers find them really helpful to feel prepared before the animal comes home.

    Available sessions:

    • Handling Confidence Workshop – £15
    • Feeding & Supplements Session – £15
    • Full Keeper Course (3 sessions) – £40

You’ll get practical, step-by-step guidance tailored to your animal, covering handling, feeding, habitat maintenance, and recognising normal vs. concerning behaviour.

    3

    Taking your reptile home

Once you feel confident and we’ve completed the final checks that your setup and knowledge are all in place, your new reptile will be ready to go home with you!
Even after adoption, support doesn’t stop there. You’ll have access to ongoing text support for any questions or reassurance as your new companion settles in. Whether it’s a quick check about feeding or help troubleshooting behaviour, we are always happy to help.
You’ll also continue to receive 20% off any future Confidence Sessions if you’d like a refresher or to learn new skills later on — no time limit, no pressure.
  • "My goal is to make sure every reptile goes to a home where both keeper and animal can thrive.

Whether you’re brand new to reptile care or looking to expand your skills, I’m here to support you every step of the way." - Katy Baily

  • Critters already in their Forever Homes!

Here are some of our Happily-Ever-Afters!

    Section image

    Ivy the Royal Python

Originally named Creature, Ivy came to us from the National Centre of Reptile Welfare. She was a little overlooked as she wasn't a fancy morph, however, her personality made up for it!

Emily and her parents visited us looking for their perfect critter, and it was love at first sight!

    Well done Emily and Ivy!

    Tango the Gargoyle Gecko

Tango was handed in to us after being abandoned at a pet shop. Only young, we manged to feed him up and build his confidence so that he was ready to find his perfect home.

Along came Reggie! Reggie had been researching Gargoyle Geckos for almost two years in hopes of having his own. Behind the scences his parents had contacted us and were creating the most incredible enclosure for Tango, ready for a big reveal over Christmas 2024!

    Congratulations Reggie and Tango!

Spud, now Milly the Leopard Gecko

Spud came to us through an emergency rescue. She was very overweight and covered is stuck shed. She quickly melted the hearts of the staff with her laid back attitude.

Amy's heart was also melted! Spud became Milly and has been living happily ever after with Amy since the 24th of September 2024!

    Thank you Amy!

    Toby the Tortoise

Toby was with us for a few years and joined us out on sessions. However, as be began to mature we realised that this wasn't the lifestyle for him.

Thankfully Sarah fell head-over-heels with him and has been spoiling him since the 21st of September 2024! We get regular updates of his shenanigans and we love to see him doing so well.

    Well done Sarah and family!
